Volunteer Opportunities

• Patient Care Packs Assembly: Help us put together care packs filled with items that will provide information, comfort, and support to patients during their treatment journey.
• Mummy's Wish Care Packs: Help create care packs for children of mums with cancer, including stuffing bears, that will be sent to mums for them to record messages for their kids, and write handwritten notes of support.

About Us

Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) is a leading advocacy and support organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by rare cancers. Our mission is to provide support, raise awareness, and drive research initiatives to address the unique challenges faced by individuals diagnosed with rare cancers and their families. Through innovative programs and collaborations, RCA strives to make a meaningful impact on the rare cancer community.

Mummy’s Wish is a program of RCA that helps manage the distressing burden of cancer on mums and their families by providing practical, tailored support during the entire treatment journey. This support gives the gift of time to mums with cancer so they can focus on what’s most important, being a mum.

About You

• Enthusiastic and compassionate individuals
• Team players who are ready to lend a helping hand
• The location is Bowral NSW, and support is required on-site, so the ability to travel to our Bowral office is essential. 
• No specific skills required – just a willingness to make a difference
• Any training required will be provided

Time Commitment 

We have regular ongoing opportunities, a few hours once or twice a week, and one-off or short-term support offers would also be gladly accepted.
